Blogging has become a way of life for many people in our society even as become increasingly connected through the internet. For anybody who are new to the word blog, it is short for “web log”. According to Wikipedia. org, a blog is understood to be a website that is maintained by an individual with regular entries of comments, descriptions of events, or other Black Cube material such as graphics or video.
People blog for many reasons. They include:
- To disseminate information about topics that interest them
- To express opinions and ideas on topics of interest
- To manufacture a personal journal or work schedule about their everyday lives
Let’s discuss all the above reasons in more depth.
- To disseminate information on topics that interest them
An advanced expert in a particular topic of interest, and you would like to educate others about that topic, blogging is a great way to do it. Generally there is no cost involved in setting up a blog (i. e. Doodlekit. com is a superb site to set up a free blog site) and you have the potential to reach a lot more people by the internet than you would if wrote a physical book or journal article. Besides, blogging also gives you the opportunity to give updates about your topic as often as your desire. - To express opinions and ideas on topics of interest
We all have opinions on just about everything, such as current events or topics of interest. What better way to express those opinions by creating a blog? A blog does not have to be created by an individual; it can also be created by an thing, such as TV or news program where viewers have a chance to submit emails as to what was discussed on the air. These emails are then posted on the Tv show or news blog for all to see. Thus gives people a platform to inquire into each others’ emails or blogs. - To manufacture a personal journal or work schedule about their everyday lives
In some ways, blogging may very well be a computerized way of keeping a personal journal or work schedule. Before computers were in existence, people used to keep written diaries that contained entries of their most private and personal thoughts. The problem with written diaries is that they’re going to never be read by anyone else unless the writer physically gives it to anyone to read. A blog on the other hand, can be read by millions of people.
Many people will never be a famous celebrity where the media will serve as the vehicle that would document what we think and what we do. Instead, blogging gives people the chance to get to know each other by just talking about the everyday little things that matter most. Blogging can provide an opportunity for people to manufacture a snapshot about themselves for years into the future.
Should everyone create a blog? Well, that is a personal decision — I think it depends on what you want the blog for. If you have a passion about something and you want the world to know about it, then blog. If you have a business and you want to keep in close contact with them giving them the opportunity to express their thoughts about your service or product, then blog. If you want the world to know your most intimate and private thoughts because you think that your thoughts are important enough, then blog. I started blogging because I need individuals to have something to remember me by. My blog will serve as a snapshot of who I am and what Used to do in my life. There are millions of blogs on the internet today; if you actually choose to create one more, it will most likely capture the interest of someone else.
